Ababis Naukluft Mountain Trail

Impressive landscapes in unspoilt nature, exciting hikes, breathtaking sunsets, evenings around the campfire with a real Namibian braai ... and lots of unforgettable moments.

We are starting to offer you a new and exciting activity:

Accompanied 3-day-hikes into the mountains of the Naukluft.

We have set up a camp with three tents and a kitchen in the rugged and untouched parts of our farm, restored old trails and created new ones. Starting from the camp, day trips into the mountains are possible with distances of 4-7 hours per day.
An English-speaking member of farm staff accompanies you along the way and is also available to answer any questions you may have.
When you will be back, the kitchen team has already prepared a campfire for braai, so that the days will end as an impressive experience under the starry sky.

You will sleep in comfortable twin tents, with shower and toilet facilities on site.
In the morning, our kitchen team will prepare you a fragrant coffee and a hearty breakfast.
You can prepare your own snacks for the hike.

We organise challenging hikes from April to October for small groups of 3-6 participants.
Booking in good time is essential.
